Bill McCarthy is a Senior Case Manager for Seniors In Place, LLC. He brings with him decades of experience in advocating for seniors in need of assistance while living in place (wherever you define “home”, be it the house they raised their family in, the Senior Community they moved into after retirement, or to help manage the transition into Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing). As a Licensed Social Worker, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and an Award-Winning Senior Advocate, Bill has a comprehensive understanding of the resources available to seniors in need, and a clear way of helping you understand what the best options might be for your situation. As the youngest of 8 children, he was an active participant in the care of his own elderly parents, and understands the challenges to navigating through these situations. His mother, Norma always said, “there’s a certain dignity to staying in your own home.”
Bill is a Massachusetts native, and a Graduate of Framingham State College with a degree in Sociology. Five years ago, he moved his Jersey-Girl wife, their beautiful children, and Golden Retriever, Max back to NJ to be closer to their grandmother. Bill enjoys coaching his children’s athletic teams, visiting his siblings in New England, and spending as much time with his family as possible. Bill’s favorite hobby is implementing both performing music and running marathons to help raise funds and awareness for the Charities of his choice. Bill is sincerely honored to have the opportunity to work with you, and he is delighted to be at your service.
Niki Javidani holds a Doctorate in Education with over 40 years of working experience in various administrative roles, including serving as an HR Manager for a large academic organization. Niki has taught courses at the college level and has worked for the United Nations Educational & Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Today, she heads the Seniors In Place, LLC four-stage hiring process in which only about 3% of all applicants are hired. Niki also runs our weekly in-service and ensures each caregiver knows exactly how to perform their duties according to the Seniors In Place Standards of Care. She is also a Quarterly Speaker for AARP and can be found all over New Jersey giving various talks and presentations.
“I feel so happy to use my skills and experiences to promote the Seniors In Place mission.”
Niki lives in Morris County, NJ. She has 2 grown sons and enjoys cooking.
One of the things I love the most about my job is helping clients remain comfortably in their own homes and allowing them to have as much independence as they can – with the support from our caregivers, usually in difficult times for them or their families.
I love every moment about being a nurse and am glad to share my knowledge with clients and families when they need someone from the outside to give them support or guide them through certain processes that may be unfamiliar to them I love being part of a great team who works together to provide excellent care for the client.
I love that I am able to combine my love for healthcare with my management and administrative skills. I earned my degree in Healthcare Management from DeVry University in 2011. This led me to working for a Medicaid agency where I did pretty much everything from receptionist, to payroll, to insurance claims, to staffing cases, and lastly assigning nurses to take care of certain patients.
At Seniors In Place, I have been given many opportunities for growth, as well as increasing responsibilities every year I have been here.

Despite her successes, she never felt truly fulfilled with this path. Erika’s passion for helping others led her to the Seniors in place “family”. Growing up in large close-knit family, Erika’s deep understanding of the hardships families experience is what inspires her to provide the right support for seniors in need of care.
When she met Chad Blecker at a networking event, she knew she finally found the career and family company she was searching for.
She attributes her compassion for seniors in need to her experience of caring for her aging grandmother’s. Erika is thrilled to be part of the Seniors in Place “family.” She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, and a proud mother of three incredible adult children that reside in NY and NJ. Her mantra everyday is “Gratitude is the best attitude”.
